Jenna's Nails

I started making nails because I couldn't find any that felt like me. Every press-on set on the shelf was pink, glossy, and made for someone I wasn't. I'd walk past displays and feel invisible — like the version of me I saw in the mirror didn't exist in any store, on any model, in any ad. So one night, half out of frustration and half out of love for the craft, I sat down at my desk with a handful of cheap supplies and painted a set for myself. Spiderwebs. Black roses. Tiny silver charms. Things that actually looked like the inside of my head. My friends saw them and asked where I got them. I told them I made them. They asked if I'd make them a set too. That's how it all started — not as a business, but as a way to finally see myself.
